Prep from the actual playlist
AI Show Prep is opened from Tools → AI Assistant → Open AI Show Prep, and it uses the current main playlist as context.
That detail is what makes it useful rather than generic. Notes generated against the hour you are actually about to run can reference the specific tracks, the artists, and the shape of the hour. Generic talking points about "music" are worthless.
What it produces
A first draft: talking points, angles, links between items. The presenter's job becomes editing rather than starting from an empty page — and editing is much faster than generating.
Prompt templates are available for common needs like news angles, listener ideas and trend talking points, which can then be refined.

The library analyzer is worth singling out — it runs its "Analyze library…" checks without requiring any model configuration, because those checks are deterministic rather than generative. It is grouped with the AI tools by menu placement, not by dependency.
Who can use it
Superusers, admins and managers may use playlist, voice track and show prep flows. Connection settings and usage logs are restricted to superusers and admins.
That split is sensible for a station: presenters get the tools, and the people responsible for the account control the credentials and see the spend.
Keeping the human in it
Show prep output is a draft, and should be read as one. It has no idea what happened in your town this morning, what your audience cares about, or what you said yesterday.
What it removes is the blank page, which is the actual obstacle most of the time.
